Why We Started Styled Abode
Styled Abode began with a simple frustration: shopping for home goods had become exhausting. Endless options, fleeting trends, and questionable quality made it difficult to feel confident in a purchase. We saw how often people spent money on items that didn’t last, didn’t align with their values, or quickly ended up discarded.
We wanted to create an alternative — a place where the noise is filtered out and only the best options remain. A boutique where women could find pieces that feel current today and still feel right ten years from now. Founder & Owner
Meet Becky
Becky founded Styled Abode in July of 2021. Located in the heart of the great town of Elkader, Iowa. After years of blogging about life and decorating, studying the science behind home color and finishes, and hosting semi-annual vintage sales on their farm, she decided to take the leap and combine it all in one place. With the encouragement of her husband, Styled Abode began. She now works to grow her brand beyond Elkader, while enjoying life on the farm and raising her four children together with her husband.
